The Owl and the Pussycat

Late last night, I received this picture of John and Andy enjoying the fruits of their labours after filling the rubber dinghy with air.
Do we believe the caption …”Abandon ship – getting away from Dave’s cooking.”
Or are they desperately trying to tow their beloved AnTiki raft towards Eleuthera Island?

In time I hope they will send pictures taken from their little excursion away from the relative safety of their home – the raft AnTiki.

Andy and John taking their first faltering steps into the lofty halls of ocean-rowing.

Robin dips an oar into the harbour at Valle Gran Rey to check the dinghy has no leaks before
stowing it aboard AnTiki.

Great picture of Andy and John rowing in mid Atlantic, such calm waters unbelievable. Guess I will have to change the ‘sea state’ in my painting.
looking forward to seeing any pictures they took of the An-Tiki from the dinghy.

25 March 2011. Dear Anthony, how could you possibly forget my birthday, even though you are somewhere in the South Atlantic – no excuse! SHE sends love! Bloody Trinity!
